CIRCE, Research Centre for Energy Resources and Consumption, is a private Foundation created in 1993 by the University of Zaragoza (Spain), the Regional Government of Aragón and the Endesa Group.
Since 2001, CIRCE is acknowledged as a Centre of Technological Innovation. In 2009 the University of Zaragoza –CIRCE Mixed University Research Institute was constituted. The main R+D+i activities of CIRCE can be grouped into 8 major fields of work, one of them being natural resources management. Additionally, CIRCE has a vast experience concerning R+D+I projects and dissemination of results through scientific articles, conferences and websites.
